Memberships due from May 01 2026
The 2026 season is nearly upon us and it's time to start thinking about the type of club membership best suits your needs.
Below is an explanation of the new membership options we are offering this season. Your membership subscription not only ensures we can pay the bills associated with the clubhouse, but also covers fees to the league, insurances, upkeep of grounds machinery and the costs associated with materials for the pitch and ground:

| Senior cricket - Adult Player | Can play in any type of adult match, can train on Wednesday evenings at the ground and has access to all social membership benefits | £80 |
| Senior cricket - Junior Player (u16) | Aged under 16 as at 1st May. Can play in any adult match or any adult league or friendly match selected for. Has access to all social membership benefits | £60 |
| Senior cricket - Student Player (u21) | Aged over 16 as at 1st May, but still in full-time education. Can play in junior matches (if relevant) and any adult games (league and friendly) whilst having access to all social membership benefits | £60 |
| Senior cricket - Friendly Matches Only | Can play only in midweek t20 games and Sunday fixtures as will not be registered with the league. Has access to all social membership benefits | £50 |
| Senior cricket - Unemployed Player | For individuals registered as unemployed on 1st May. Has all 'Adult Player' benefits | £40 |
| Senior cricket - Half-Year Player (to June/July onwards) | For individuals registering late in the season or who are likely to be posted abroad mid-season. Has all 'Adult Player' benefits | £45 |
| Social Membership (non-playing member) | See below for benefits. This membership is for all parents, spectators and volunteers wishing to be a part of Sunningwell CC. Parents are requested to buy a social membership if they have children wishing to transfer from Dynamos to Junior cricket training nights. | £20 |
| Junior cricket - Junior hardball | Training and matches throughout the summer for age groups u11 to u17s. This price now includes social membership for ONE parent. Discounts for those with more than one child. Excludes All Stars and Dynamos - see Junior section on this website for more details | £65 |
| Volunteer Membership | Social Membership for those volunteering on a regular basis. This is at the discretion of the committee. | FREE |
| Womens cricket | Training each week with potential for softball matches. | FREE |
What does Social Membership entitle me to?
Social Members are essential to the running of the club. Sunningwell CC is not just about what happens on the pitch, but it's also what we can do to create a sense of community off the pitch. Being a Member of the club provides you with:
- Pavilion Bar - access to members only bar for you to enjoy competitively priced drinks as you watch the game or chill out in the evening air
- Events - throughout the year, Sunningwell Cricket Club organises events you have free access to join, including:

| JULY 05 | Wine & Wickets event - wine tasting with an element of cricket thrown in too! |
| AUGUST 09 | Beer & Bails - local brew beer tasting, with a little cricket thrown in too! |
| SEPTEMBER 12 | Bashes & Burgers - end of season barbecue after an inter-club game in which all are welcome to play! |
| OCTOBER 17 | Season Awards Dinner - awards are not just for players, but are a celebration for all members of the club, come along and join in the fun |
| NOVEMBER 21 | Stumps Quiz Night - to mark the end of the season a fun quiz night that covers all aspects of cricket as well as other topics. Come along to play and test your grey matter. |
